Crochet Pattern Templates
Create a Free Google Account
To use Google Docs, you need a free Google account. If you have one, you can log in and skip this section (move on to save your own Master Copies).
You can create a Google account by following these steps:
- Go to the Google Account sign in page
- Click Create account
- Enter your name, username, and password
- Click Next
- Optionally, add and verify a phone number
- If you have an existing email address, you can click Use my current email address instead. Then, enter your email address and verify it with the code sent to you.
- If you don't have an email address, you can create one using the account.
- Review Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click I agree
Once you have a Google account, you can use the same email and password to sign in to other Google products, like Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, and Google Drive.
Save Your Master Copies:
- Click on any of the Sample Pattern Template links.
- Click the "Make a copy" box
- Once you are viewing the template, click on the file name to change it (suggestion: PATTERN TEMPLATE - MASTER - SAMPLE 1, 2, 3...)
- Never edit the Master template directly when creating a new pattern; always make a new copy to use.
