Specialty Stitch and Technique Key

  • spike sc (spike single crochet) = insert hook in st 2 rounds below, yo and pull up a loop to height of current row, yo and pull through both loops on hook. 

 Pattern Notes 

  • Work Round 1 in back bumps of beginning chain to create a nicer bottom edge. 
  • Pattern is worked in continuous rounds, use a stitch marker to mark 1st st of each round.

Ch 11.

Row 1: Sc in 3rd ch from hook (skipped 2 chs counts as 1st sc) and in each ch across—10 Sc

Rows 2: Ch 1 (counts as 1st sc), turn, *Sc in next, spike sc in next St 2 rows below; repeat from * across, Sc in last—10 Sts; 6 Sc + 4 spike Sts

Repeat row 2 to continue working this stitch pattern.
