Basketweave Stitch Pattern Step-by-step Instructions

Row 1: Ch 32, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook and in

each ch across – 30 dc.

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 hdc now & throughout) & turn, *1 FPdc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 BPdc in each of the next 4 sts; repeat from * across until 5 sts remain, 1 FPdc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 hdc in final ch – 16 FPdc + 12 BPdc + 2 hdc.

Row 3: Ch 2 & turn, *1 BPdc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 FPdc in each of the next 4 sts; repeat from * across until 5 sts remain, 1 BPdc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 hdc in final ch – 16 BPdc + 12 FPdc + 2 hdc.

Row 4: Repeat row 3

Row 5: Repeat row 2

Row 6: Repeat row 3

Repeat rows 4-6 to continue working this stitch pattern.
